The Night Owl is a unique and valuable pet in Grow a Garden, primarily known for its ability to boost the experience gain of other pets in your garden. It was introduced as part of the Lunar Glow Event.
Grow a Garden Night Owl has a distinctive design, featuring a navy blue and lighter blue boxy body, an orange beak, orange feet, and blue claws. It is notable for its glowing neon eyes and a glowing white light around it, which made it look striking during night events.
How to Obtain Grow a Garden Night Owl
Night Egg
The Night Owl is exclusively hatched from a Night Egg. There is a 4% chance (or 3.53% chance) of hatching a Night Owl from a Night Egg.
Night Eggs were originally limited-edition items obtainable during the Lunar Glow Event. Players could earn them by completing quests given by the Wise Old Owl, which involved collecting plants with the Moonlit mutation to gain Lunar Points.
Night Eggs were rewarded at various Lunar Point milestones, specifically 70, 210, 240, 290, 320, and 430 Lunar Points.
Night Eggs could also be purchased directly with Robux. A single egg cost 199 Robux, three eggs cost 575 Robux, and a pack of 10 was priced at 1,699 Robux.
Since Night Eggs and the associated events are now discontinued, Grow a Garden Night Owl is currently unobtainable through direct purchase or hatching. However, it may still be acquired through trading with other players in game communities like Discord.
Grow a Garden Night Owl: Passive Ability
The Night Owl’s primary ability is to significantly increase the experience (EXP) gain of other active pets in your garden. This boost is an additional 0.20 to 0.25 XP per second for all active pets. The ability is named “Movement Variation”.
A key advantage of this passive is that it affects all active pets in your garden, regardless of their proximity to the Grow a Garden Night Owl. This continuous EXP gain is crucial for leveling up your companions, which in turn helps you unlock more pet equip slots.
