The Pack Bee is a Mythical pet in Roblox: Grow a Garden that significantly enhances your gardening experience by increasing your backpack storage capacity. Introduced in the Working Bees Crafting Update on June 14, 2025, it was the sole new pet added in that specific update, though players online for the update were also gifted Cooked Owl pets.
Grow a Garden Pack Bee is described as a tiny yellow and black bee. It features an orange hard hat and has a small brown wooden basket attached to its underside, flying around the farm with this empty basket. It generally resembles a normal bee but with a worker’s helmet and a crate.
How to Obtain Grow a Garden Pack Bee
The primary way to acquire the Pack Bee is by crafting it at the Bizzy Bear crafting recipe station, located in the center of the play area. Currently, players can craft the Pack Bee at the Crafting Tables.
To craft the Grow a Garden Pack Bee, you will need the following materials:
- 1 Anti Bee Egg
- 1 Sunflower
- 1 Purple Dahlia
- 250 Honey
Steps for Crafting:
- Gather all the necessary items in your backpack.
- Head to the crafting table.
- Interact with the station by pressing the ‘E’ key.
- Scroll down to the bottom to find the “Pack Bee” crafting recipe.
- Click on the recipe and then click “Craft”.
- Submit the required items one by one.
- Use 250 Honey to initiate the crafting process, which takes four hours.
- Once the timer concludes, you can claim the pet by interacting with the crafting station again.
If you prefer to bypass the crafting time, you can skip it by spending 39 Robux. Alternatively, the Pack Bee can be purchased directly for 799 Robux, eliminating the need for the egg, sunflower, dahlia, and honey coins requirements. You can cancel the crafting recipe at any time by pressing the ‘C’ key.
Grow a Garden Pack Bee: Passive Ability
The Pack Bee provides a crucial passive ability; It increases your backpack size by approximately 25 to 26 slots. This allows you to carry more crops, fruits, seeds, and tools before reaching the “max backpack” message.
As the Pack Bee ages, the number of available slots it provides will increase slightly over time. Additionally, the Pack Bee can pollinate a random plant every ~25 minutes. Prior to the Mega Harvest update, its ability was solely focused on increasing item storage.
Grow a Garden Pack Bee is particularly useful during events like the Summer Harvest or Working Bee Swarm Event, where you can collect over 60 pollinated fruits in a short period. Having extra backpack space helps you collect more items without frequently returning to sell them, thus saving time.
