Visually, the Petal Bee stands out with its unique white body, pink stripes, and pink wings, differing from the typical yellow and black bee color scheme. When it flies, a charming white and pink falling flower animation trails from its stomach.
How to Get Grow a Garden Petal Bee
Bee Egg
The primary way to obtain the Petal Bee is by hatching it from a Bee Egg. This pet was introduced during the Bizzy Bees event, and Bee Eggs are only available during such events.
Currently, players can only purchase Bee Eggs from the Honey Merchant (one of the Travelling Merchants). Each Bee Egg costs 18 Honey Coins or 129 Robux.
Bee Eggs are considered very rare and often out of stock in the Honey Shop, so you may need to check hourly to catch them when available.
Once you have a Bee Egg, there is only a 4% chance of hatching a Petal Bee from it, making it the second-rarest pet from the Bee Egg, with only the Queen Bee being rarer. The Petal Bee has a hunger stat of 25,000.
Grow a Garden Petal Bee: Passive Ability
Approximately every 25 minutes (specifically noted as 24:43 minutes), the Petal Bee will fly to a nearby fruit and pollinate it, applying the Pollinated mutation. Pollinated fruits are essential for converting into Honey at the Honey Combpressor, which is the currency for the Bizzy Bees event and Bee Merchant.
Grow a Garden Petal Bee also provides a small chance, around 1% (specifically 1.21%), for a flower-type fruit to remain after you harvest it. This passive ability is always active, meaning you’ll eventually benefit from it.
