The Recipe Book in Roblox: Grow a Garden is a feature designed to help players keep track of the recipes they have discovered and the ingredients required to make them. It was a much-requested item among players.
Grow a Garden Recipe Book stores all the recipes you have personally made in the game. It logs the ingredients used for each recipe and can also show information like the heaviest cooked version, the most valuable version, and the best mutations found on a dish.
It helps you avoid having to constantly refer back to external guides or videos once you’ve crafted a recipe yourself.
Grow a Garden Recipe Book: Mechanics
To add a recipe to your Recipe Book, you must cook the recipe yourself. For example, if you combine corn and blueberries, and it results in porridge, that recipe will be recorded in your book.
Every time you create a brand new recipe, it will automatically be recorded in the Recipe Book. Once a recipe is made, you can open the Grow a Garden Recipe Book, click on the item (which might initially show a question mark), and it will then display all the known ingredients for that dish.
Limitations and Considerations
The Recipe Book does not come pre-filled with all possible recipes or their ingredients. You have to discover them through your own cooking efforts first. This means you might still need to consult external sources or experiment to find new recipes initially.
The Kitchen Storm update introduced a new “Transcendent” rarity for food, which is the highest rarity you can achieve. Transcendent recipes, like other rarities, will be recorded in your Recipe Book once discovered.
