The Koi is a mythical, unobtainable, and unreleased pet in Roblox: Grow a Garden that is set to be introduced with the Zen Event. Grow a Garden Koi resembles a real-life Koi fish.

Its body is primarily white with black and orange spots. The Koi has a hunger value of 2,500. There are nine different Koi variants, with the gold one speculated to offer a higher luck bonus.

How to Obtain Grow a Garden Koi

The Koi will be obtainable during the Zen Event. It will be available for purchase from the Tranquil Treasure Shop within the Zen Event, not from the Zen Egg.

The cost of the Koi is 45 Chi (the Zen Event currency) or 449 Robux. To unlock the Koi in the Tranquil Treasure Shop, players must “Grow Monk Unc’s Tree 4 times”.

Grow a Garden Koi: Passive Ability

The Koi’s passive ability is “Fish of Fortune”. This ability grants a chance to recover an egg when hatching. It is described as very useful for hatching eggs because it provides a small bonus to egg hatch luck, making it easier to hatch rarer pets.

The inclusion of the Koi pet confirms that ponds or hot springs are expected to be added to the game, as fish require water to exist in the game environment. The Nihonzaru pet also benefits from having a Hot Spring in the garden.
