Introduction to Lupa Guide
Lupa Stats by Level:
Wuthering Waves Lupa Guide: Lupa is one of my favorite characters in Wuthering Waves, and not just because she looks cool. She’s a 5★ Fusion Broadblade user who brings a ton of value to any Fusion team. What really makes her stand out is how she buffs teammates while still putting out solid damage herself. Her kit is built around enabling other Fusion characters, reducing enemy resistance, and giving your main DPS a huge boost through her Outro Skill. Whether you’re building around Changli, Encore, or Brant, Lupa fits in perfectly and helps push your damage even higher.
If you enjoy setting up big teamwide buffs, rotating characters for synergy, or just want someone who hits hard while making the whole team stronger—Lupa is definitely worth the investment.

Build Guide
Weapons
Signature Weapon: Wildfire Mark (5-star Broadblade)
Wildfire Mark is Lupa’s signature Broadblade and her best-in-slot weapon. It boosts ATK by 12%, and using her Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation increases Liberation DMG by 24% for 6 seconds. If she deals Heavy Attack DMG while this effect is active, its duration is extended by 4 seconds and grants a 24% Fusion DMG Bonus to all team members for 30 seconds. This synergizes perfectly with her rotation and Fusion support role, significantly enhancing team-wide Fusion output when paired with her Pack Hunt effect.
Alternative 5★ Options
Ages of Harvest
Offers a solid substitute. It provides a 12% Attribute DMG Bonus and, after using an Intro Skill or Resonance Skill, increases Resonance Skill DMG by 24% for 12 seconds. Though slightly behind Wildfire Mark in performance, it still supports Lupa’s Fusion DMG utility and fits comfortably into her kit.
Best 4-Star Option
Autumntrace
Battle Pass Broadblade, is Lupa’s strongest 4-star option. It offers a solid Crit Rate stat and provides stacking ATK bonuses when using Basic or Heavy Attacks, which fits well with her frequent use of both in her core rotation. Its consistent buffs help maintain reliable personal damage while contributing to her Fusion support role.
Echoes
Echo Sets
Best Set for Aero Teams
Flaming Clawprint
The 2-piece bonus grants a 10% Fusion DMG increase, while the 5-piece bonus activates upon casting Resonance Liberation, granting all team members a 15% Fusion DMG Bonus and giving Lupa an additional 20% Liberation DMG Bonus for 35 seconds. This set is an ideal match for her kit, boosting both her personal output and team-wide Fusion damage consistently
Main Echo: Lioness of Glory – this Echo summons the Halberd of Glory to deal Fusion DMG and passively grants Lupa +12% Fusion DMG and +12% Liberation DMG Bonus. It fits seamlessly into her combo flow and enhances her strengths without interrupting rotations.
Molten Rift
Serves as a strong early-game or damage-focused option. Its 2-piece bonus grants +10% Fusion DMG, while the 5-piece effect increases Fusion DMG by 30% for 15 seconds after using a Resonance Skill. Though it lacks team utility, it boosts Lupa’s personal output.
Main Echo: Nightmare: Inferno Rider
Team Compositions

Lupa serves as the core enabler for Fusion-based teams, offering powerful team-wide Fusion DMG support while dealing strong burst damage herself. Her ability to grant Fusion DMG buffs and maintain high uptime on team-wide effects makes her an essential pick for Fusion compositions.
Inferno Chain: Each member fuels the next through Outro synergy, forming an unbroken chain of Fusion-enhanced destruction.
Ashen Trinity: A well-balanced trio where fire, coordination, and support converge to burn down bosses with overwhelming power and sustained buffs.
Flame Relay: Named for its fast-paced nature, this team passes the torch between characters to keep pressure on the enemy at all times.
Crimson Drive: Leverages fast bursts, enhanced Basic and Heavy Attacks, and high Fusion uptime for aggressive but fluid gameplay.
Resonance Chains
These Sequences progressively elevate Lupa from a Fusion buffer into a self-sufficient powerhouse with enhanced damage, flexibility, and support reliability—especially notable at S2 (team-wide Fusion buff), S3 (greater build freedom), and S6 (massive personal damage spike).
Resonance Chain Effects
Sequence 1: Behold the Nameless One
After using Resonance Liberation, Lupa recovers 10 Concerto Energy, gains 20% Crit Rate for 10 seconds, and becomes immune to interruption when casting Dance With the Wolf: Climax.
Sequence 2: Every Ground, Her Hunting Field
Using Liberation or specific Heavy/Mid-air attacks grants all teammates a 20% Fusion DMG bonus for 30 seconds, stackable twice (total 40%).
Sequence 3: Wolflame Howls in Her Wake
Nowhere to Run! deals double damage. Critically, it also removes Lupa’s previous 3‑Fusion‑unit requirement for activating Pack Hunt and enhances her Glory effect, granting 15% Fusion resistance shred for 35 seconds—ideal for duo-Fusion support teams.
Sequence 4: High and Aflame Is Her Banner
Dance With the Wolf: Climax gets a 125% damage boost.
Sequence 5: Embrace the Thunderous Triumph
Triggering an Intro Skill gives a 15% Resonance Liberation DMG bonus lasting 10 seconds.
Sequence 6: To the Brightest Flaming Star
Powers up Lupa’s biggest hits: now her Forte Skill, Liberation, and Nowhere to Run! ignore 30% of enemy DEF. Feral Fang also restores 100 Wolflame on hit (once per 20s). The Forte Skill switches permanently to Climax, even out of Burning Matchpoint, and Nowhere to Run! no longer cancels her own Pack Hunt or Glory buffs.
