The Mutation Spray Corrupt is a powerful, single-use item introduced during the Corrupted Zen Event in Roblox: Grow a Garden.
Unlike Corrupt Staff that relies on chance, this spray guarantees an instant Corrupt Mutation when applied to a crop.
Grow a Garden Mutation Spray Corrupt: Effects
When a crop is affected by the Corrupt Mutation, it will emit red lightning and red/gray particle effects. The Corrupt Mutation significantly boosts a crop’s value. It gives a 20x sale value multiplier on the base price.
It is considered game-changing for speeding up rare fruit farming and profit generation. Once used, the spray is removed from your inventory. You cannot apply a mutation spray to a crop that already has that specific mutation.
How to Obtain Grow a Garden Mutation Spray Corrupt
Grow a Garden Mutation Spray Corrupt is exclusively available as a reward from the Corrupt Channeller during the Corrupted Zen Event, which is set to end on August 2, 2025. It is not found in regular shops or crates.
You can find the Corrupt Channeller, a new NPC, in the orange circle in the middle of the map, at the main spawn hub. The Corrupt Channeller will present quests that primarily involve delivering Tranquil-mutated crops with specific weight requirements.
Occasionally, the Corrupt Channeller might also ask for Sheckles instead of fruit. Each successful delivery of a requested crop or payment earns you one random item from the Corrupt Channeller’s rewards table. The prize pool resets every hour, and there’s no limit to how many rewards you can earn.
The drop chance for the Grow a Garden Mutation Spray Corrupt is 8.7% from these rewards.
Tips for Completing Quests and Farming Rewards
Focus on Tranquil Crops
The Corrupt Channeller only wants Tranquil crops. You can obtain the Tranquil Mutation by:
- Equipping the Tanchozuru Pet
- Equipping a pet with the Tranquil Mutation.
- Using the Mutation Spray Tranquil.
- During the hourly Zen Event.
Grow Crops in Advance
Quests rotate hourly, so it’s beneficial to grow batches of Tranquil-mutated crops in advance to speed up submissions.
Manage Your Plots
Consider using an additional save slot (costs 25 billion Sheckles or 400 Robux) to plant all the required seeds for quests. This can “force” the game to mutate only those plants with either Corrupted or Tranquil mutations, as the game randomly mutates a plant every 30 seconds. If you don’t have extra save slots, avoid picking up all already mutated fruits, as this can guarantee new plants get mutations.
Use Sprinklers
Many quests require fruits of a certain weight. Sprinklers increase the weight of your fruits, making it easier to meet the requirements for medium and hard quests. Master, godly, basic, and medium sprinklers are all effective.
Strategic Seed Purchases
Buy seeds for various fruits (e.g., tomato, strawberry, corn, bamboo for easy quests; apple, coconut, pumpkin, dragon fruit for medium; mango, grape, mushroom, pepper, cocoa for hard) from the seed shop even if you don’t currently have the associated quest. Rare seeds, especially for hard quests, are difficult to obtain, and having them ready prevents being out of luck.

For rare or hard-to-get seeds, you can use the Reclaimer to reclaim seeds from existing plants.
