Stardew Valley Flower Dance Guide

The Stardew Valley Flower Dance Guide is a seasonal festival held on the 24th of every Spring. To participate, the player must enter Cindersap Forest between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM—entry is not allowed before 9:00 AM.

The event takes place in a special area located in the far west of the forest, accessible by crossing the bridge south of the Wizard’s Tower. This part of the forest is only open during the Flower Dance.

On the day of the festival, all homes and shops in Stardew Valley are closed and cannot be entered.

During the festival, players have the opportunity to dance with one of the eligible bachelors or bachelorettes. To do this, you must speak to a character multiple times—usually twice—until the option to ask them to dance appears. However, they will only accept if you have at least four hearts of friendship with them. Other villagers will also be available for conversation, offering unique festival-related dialogue.

Successfully dancing with an NPC increases your friendship with them by one heart (250 points). In multiplayer mode, players can also choose to dance with each other. If you’re divorced from an NPC, they will reject your invitation and respond with hostile dialogue.

Once you’ve spoken to Mayor Lewis, the dance begins. After the event concludes, your character will be returned to the farm at 10:00 PM.
