The Pig is classified as a Rare pet, it was added to Roblox: Grow a Garden during the Animal Update on May 3, 2025. The Pig has a distinct appearance with a pink body, ears, and snout, and brown hooves. Uniquely, its face is located on one end of its body rather than a traditional head.
How to Obtain Grow a Garden Pig
Rare Egg
The primary way to obtain a Pig is by hatching it from a Rare Egg. Rare Eggs can be purchased from the Pet Egg Shop for 600,000 Sheckles.
The Rare Egg has a 24% chance of appearing in the shop’s stock, which refreshes every 30 minutes. Once obtained, the Rare Egg takes two hours to hatch.
Currently, the Rare Egg is unavailable, which means the Pig pet is also currently unobtainable through hatching. However, event pets can sometimes become available again in later updates or events.
Grow a Garden Pig: Passive Ability
The Pig’s main ability involves a special aura. Every 118 seconds, the Pig emits an aura that lasts for 15 seconds. This aura increases the chance of nearby plants (within a 15-stud radius) growing as variant fruits by 2x.
These variants include highly valuable types like Rainbow mutation and Gold mutation. The Pig’s trait specifically affects fruits that haven’t fully grown. This ability is beneficial for maximizing the sell value of your yield, as larger fruits and those with mutations sell for more Sheckles.
