The auction house is an event in Evony (found in Event Center) where players can bid for “common” and “rare” goods. It also has one “mysterious” featured item on offer at any one time. You use gems to bid on an item.

The person with the highest bid wins the auction, unless someone uses the Buy Now function. If the time remaining on the auction is less than five minutes, and a new bid is received, the bid is extended to last 5 minutes. Gems will be consumed upon bidding, and shall be returned if unsuccessful. Players need to reclaim the gems manually if unsuccessful in the auction house. Gems consumed by bidding do not count towards the consuming event.
