Evony Advanced Refining Guide

Introduction

The Advanced Refining update (21/07/2023) allows players to further refine their Civilization Equipment. This means that players can essentially get a 5th refine on their civ gear, allowing for some crazy buff increases!

Evony Advanced Refining Explained

Advanced Refining is unlocked when a player has four gold refines on their equipment. You do not need to keep these four normal gold refines to keep advanced refining unlocked.

You can advanced refine up to 50 times per day, and it costs gold and refine stones to do so. This refining has a set buff for each piece of gear (more information on specific gear coming soon), and can be upgraded.

Each time you refine, it gives you at least 500 experience points, although sometimes you may receive multiples of this amount.

The Ares and Achaemenidae equipment sets are now eligible for upgrades.

Access the Equipment Upgrade interface through the Forge in your City. Use Forge Master Certificates to upgrade:

• Ares Set → Imperial Set
• Achaemenidae Set → Parthian Set
• Forge Master Certificates can be obtained from the Gather Troops event and Viking Challenge event.

How to Access Advanced Refining in Evony

To access Advanced Refining, go to your Wonder and you will find the menu there.
