Located via the Keep, Evony Champions are a collection that you can unlock and level up to receive rewards and buffs. The first champion, Helen, is unlocked automatically, although the others require various items to unlock them:
- Elisabeth – Bavarian Floral Basket
- Ariadne – Ardiane’s Thread Ball
- Dulcinea – La Mancha Armor
- Emeralda – Roma Bouquet Pot
- Josephine – Crown of Empress
- Cassandra – Oracle Fragment
- Judith – Carolingian Jewelry
- Marcia – Bath Invitation
- Demeter – Golden Wheat Ear
- Minerva – Staff of Wisdom
- Nefertiti – Solar Crown
- Goshasp – Turan Strongbow
You can use Champion Token’s during the Champion’s events in exchange for these items to then unlock the Champion you desire. You can get these Champion Tokens doing various activities during the event, or through purchasing packs. Some champions can only be acquired through cake level 5 during certain events – although more information on this can be found later in the guide.
Note: In the Evony 4.86.0 update, Champions maximum level increased from 20 to 28.
How to get each Evony Champion
How to get new champion Nefertiti
To unlock Nefertiti, you must reach level 5 of the King’s Party (cake event) – here you will receive the “Solar Crown” reward. This can then be used to redeem for Nefertiti. The cost of reaching this is approximately 350 USD.
How to get Demeter
To unlock Demeter, you must reach level 5 of the King’s Party (cake event) – here you will receive the “Golden Wheat Ear” reward. This can then be used to redeem for Demeter. The cost of reaching this is approximately 350 USD.
How to get Minerva
To unlock Minerva, you must reach level 5 of the King’s Party (cake event) – This can then be used to redeem for Marcia. The cost of reaching this is approximately 350 USD.
How to get Nefertiti
To get Nefertiti, you must participate in special, limited-time events, most notably the 2025 Heavenly Fire Ceremony. She is typically obtained by acquiring her unique unlock item, the Solar Crown, or through redeeming items in the Sun City Collection using Bastet’s Favor For more information on the cost of “Cake’ing”, click here.
How to get Simonetta
To get Simonetta, you must acquire her unlock item, the Seashell, which is obtained by reaching level 5 in the 9th Anniversary Party Cake event. For more information on the cost of “Cake’ing”, click here.
How to get Marcia
To unlock Marcia, you must reach level 5 of the King’s Party (cake event) – here you will receive the “Bath Invitation” reward. This can then be used to redeem for Marcia. The cost of reaching this is approximately 350 USD.
How to get Judith
To unlock Judith, you much reach level 5 of the King’s Party (Cake event) when it is a reward in there. This means you will need to spend approximately 350$ to unlock this the Judith Champion. At cake level 5, you shall receive “Carolingian Jewelry”, which can be redeemed for the Champion.
How to get Cassandra
Cassandra was released on the 19th of April 2024, and the only way to currently get her in the game is at level 5 of King’s Party (aka Cake). This will cost approximately $350. For more information on the cost of “Cake’ing”, click here.
How to Get Josephine
Josephine was released on the 1st of December 2023, and the only way to currently get her in the game is at level 5 of Napoleon’s Party (aka Cake). This will cost approximately $350. For more information on the cost of “Cake’ing”, click here.
How to Get Goshasp
Goshasp was released in 27th of Febuary 2026 during the Starry Pilgrimage event. Players can gain Champion Goshasp’s unlocking item – Turan Strongbow at Party Cake level 5. For more information on the cost of “Cake’ing”, click here.
Leveling up a Champion
The Champions can be levelled up through four ways:
- Greeting – 10 times per day, giving 7,500 exp each time (75,000 exp per day in total).
- Empowerment – 15 times per day, giving 7,000 exp each time (105,000 exp per day in total).
- Love Box – Obtained in packs, events, killing monsters, and farming. Gives 2,000 exp
- Ruby Necklace – Bought in alliance store, packs, and event. Gives 12,500 exp
To level up a Champion using Greet, click on the Greet button. There is a one minute cooldown between Greets.
To level up through Empowerment, click on the Champion. There is no cooldown between Empowerments.
To level up through the Love Box and Ruby Necklace items, click on the Loyalty love heart at the top right, and then click Send Gift where applicable.

Evony Champion Rewards
The buffs are unlocked at various levels, with the maximum level of a champion being level 28 (it was previously level 20). As you level up your champion, you will also get rewards such as gems, generals, blood of ares, runestones etc. so overall Evony Champions are a great thing to focus on – ensure every day you are using your maximum daily greeting and empowerment actions.
