Is the alliance boss event important?
Absolutely! In essence, this event revolves around summoning a boss near the Alliance Hive, which acts as a mini-World Boss and can be attacked both individually and in a group. The event is of great importance since it is one of the few chances to acquire Civilization Gear, even if the chest will give you a random one. Therefore, being persistent and participating actively in the event is crucial to increase the likelihood of obtaining Civ Gear.
How to achieve it?
Maximize your rewards with this guide that breaks down all the details needed, as we already know, Evony is a play the long-term game (time) or use money.
To access the Alliance Boss event, go to the “Event Center” and select it from the options. This event occurs every 28 days and lasts for two weeks. Once you enter the event, you will see a screen displaying individual rewards for hitting the Alliance Boss. The most valuable reward is the “Silver Lionheart Badge,” highlighted in the image with an arrow. While other rewards are also beneficial for development and growth, the focus should be on obtaining the badges.
Upon entering the event, you will encounter three different bosses. If this is the first time participating in the event, both you and your alliance must use activity points to unlock the bosses. However, if you have unlocked the bosses, your main focus will be on selecting which one to summon. This decision should be based on the strength of your alliance and the strongest troops available to everyone, which will yield better results.
Once inside you need to focus on what is the buff and debuff of the boss, let’s see the next image.
Your R4/R5 alliance members will decide which of the three bosses to summon based on the buffs and debuffs. It’s important to note that the Buff/Debuffs change every time the Alliance Boss event starts, so make sure to carefully consider the best option available.
For example:
Buff: Mounted Troop Attack (Increase of 100%)
Debuff: Ground Troop Weakening (Reduction of 20%)
With this, mounted troops are the best to use and ground troops are the worst to use.
Once I have a march ready to use, do layers work?
After many attempts, it has been found that the most effective way to score high points in an attack is to send your march filled with troops of the highest tier and best type. For instance, if your march consists of 1.3 million troops, and you only have 600k T13 troops while the rest are T12, it is recommended to send them all at once. By doing so, you will deal maximum damage to the boss.
Recommendation: For best results, use city buffs (Attack, Defense, HP, and March Size)
Event Rewards
For the rewards, this is the prize list. The first one is the random Civilization Gear, it needs 3300 Silver Badges, so you will need to go through this event a few times to get one of those chests (long-term game). The next important awards in case you don’t want to wait or need something are of course Blood of Ares so you can ascend Generals, runestones chests, etc.
Single Hit Rewards
As previously stated, during this event, you have the option to attack the boss alone as much as you want or join forces with your alliance to take it down. The mechanics are similar to the World Boss, where your personal damage is calculated if you attack alone, and if you’re part of an alliance rally, you’ll be given an Alliance and an Individual damage score.
As you can see in the image, each of your hits will get you damage points that will grant you some rewards. To get max rewards, scroll to the bottom to see your requirements, they might change based on level. The total rewards for max individual damage are:
- 130 Silver Lionheart Badge, 5500 Gems, 50 Special Resource Chests, 320 Refining stones, 320 Research Stones, 160 Runestone chests, and a bunch of speedups and materials.
Alliance Hit Rewards
There are also rewards for the damage dealt by the whole alliance, the rewards aren’t as good, however are still free items and should be claimed.
In conclusion, the final aspect that requires our attention pertains to the overall rankings. This event involves a competition where you and your alliance will compete against other alliances from different servers. As a result, there are two additional rewards to be won. Below, you will find the rewards for achieving the top rank in terms of damage dealt and the top rank in terms of alliance damage dealt.
As usual, the important ones, are the individual, where you can get an additional 300 Badges along with 50k Gems, Blood of Ares, and a lot more. The Alliance Rank Rewards are less rewarding but very appreciated!
