Evony Great Expedition Event Guide

The Evony Great Expedition Event was added on the 23rd of August, 2024. This event requires players to roll dice and move around a board to gain rewards. Getting Started with Evony Great Expedition

This event can be likened to Monopoly, where players must roll dice to move around a board and collect rewards – although don’t worry, you don’t have to purchase properties in this version! Instead you simply roll, and gain rewards. The event is quite simple and doesn’t take much skill or planning.

Every day you are given a free die to roll, and you can earn a further six dice by completing your daily activity. As you go round the board you will earn rewards. Each square, or tile, on the board has a logo on it – this logo represents the award available on the tile. For example, the wheat square will gift your resources and Expedition Medals. Other rewards you can win by landing on tiles include refining stones, runestones, speedups, gold, treasure boxes, and Blood of Ares.

There are chests and giftboxes located throughout the board. Landing on these squares will result in enhanced rewards – you can click on the square to preview the rewards. You will be gifted a chest which can be opened to receive a random item inside.

Rewards for Evony Great Expedition Event

There is no server ranking for this event, and therefore no rewards based on your position versus the rest of the server (unlike most events). Instead there are two main sources of rewards: Expedition Medals and Quests. You can also earn rewards through the battlepass-style rewards, although this requires coining for the good rewards and is pretty self explanatory so we won’t focus on this.

When you land on squares or pass Go, you will earn Expedition Medals. These medals can be redeemed in the Expedition Shop for a variety of rewards, including Blood of Ares, Magic Dice, Temporary Castle Decorations, Tactic Scrolls, Dragon Coins and more!

As you go round the board, you will earn rewards for completing a set amount of laps. The rewards (and requirements) for this, can be found below:

Top Tips and Tricks for Succeeding in the Evony Great Expedition Event

• You get one free roll every day at reset, and can earn a further 6 dice through completing activity (1 at 20, 2 at 50, and 3 at 110)
• Landing on the space with a question mark is the “Special Event” square. Here it will randomly select one of seven things to occur (each with an equal chance). This includes receiving a magic dice, moving forward X steps, moving back X steps, doubling your next roll, or doubling your next reward
• Landing on the arrow square will reward you with 10 Expedition Medals, and open up a shortcut route – this reduces the number of squares needed to go round the whole board by 8
• Save your Magic Dice until you are within 6 spaces of a Chest – ideally make sure you check each chest (by clicking on them) to play ahead before you go round the board to see what one you want to land on. The Magic Dice will let you select what you roll, so you can guarantee you land on a space.
