Evony Ragnar’s Backstory

Viking leader and the most famous Norse hero in history.

Ragnar Lodbrok, the Viking legend of 9th century Norway, rose from the humble beginnings as a farmer’s son to become the greatest conqueror of his age. His expeditions spanned from the North Sea to the Mediterranean, his longships cutting through the waves as he tested his courage and strategy in every battle.

In England, he outwitted fortresses, striking fear into his foes. His name became synonymous with terror along the French coast. Even distant Russia and Mediterranean nations celebrated his achievements. More than a warrior, Ragnar was a strategist, expanding his influence with each raid’s wealth and experience.

Ragnar’s bravery was unmatched. Leading from the front, he won countless battles, his leadership and tactics inspiring deep loyalty. Even against overwhelming odds, his clever strategies and fierce attacks turned the tide, securing impossible victories.

Though betrayed and killed in a snake pit in Denmark, Ragnar’s legend endured. His spirit symbolized the Viking Age, inspiring future warriors to continue his heroic saga.
