How to get Gems

Gems are used in Evony for pretty much anything, from protecting your keep with bubbles, to cultivating gens, to buying stamina. Some guides will tell you to do things like gem mining, or relics – I won’t waste your time. I will show you the proper ways to get gems, without impacting on your growth by having less marches able to join rallies or farm resources.

Crazy Eggs

Crazy Eggs is an event that allows players to open eggs in exchange for hammers. Hammers can be found by killing bosses, monsters, and gathering resources.

The top left egg contains 800 gems, and the top right egg contains 4,000 gems. Once all eggs are unlocked, you will receive a Caesar egg – giving you another 6,000 gems. You won’t always get gems every time you open, but you will get the gems at least once before the gems become ‘unlocked’ for the day (you can’t open it further), although sometimes this means you can receive the gems multiple times. I have received 23,600 gems in one day before from this!

Following this technique, you can easily receive a minimum of 75,600 gems a week.

Daily Rewards

Every day you log in, you are able to claim rewards. On day one you receive 200 gems, and on day seven you receive 1,000 gems, however if you make seven tribute offers throughout the week this will upgrade the next weeks Daily Rewards. Day one will now be 500 gems, and day seven will be 2,000 gems.

Lucky Composing

Quite frequently there is an event called Lucky Composing, which is when you get cards from killing monsters, bosses, and gathering resources. The following combinations will give you gems:

• Chest 1 – Green / Blue / Purple – 400 Gems
• Chest 5 – Green / Purple / Red – 200 Gems

Wheel of Fortune

The wheel of fortune offers the following rewards, especially now Evony has introduced the ability to spin 9,000 chips at once. There is a possibility to win:

• 10 Gems
• 50 Gems
• 100 Gems
• 200 Gems
• 500 Gems
• 2,000 Gems
• 5,000 Gems

Daily Activity

By completing the daily activity located in the tavern, you can get 500 gems (unlocks at 145 points).

Battlefields

The rewards for BOC and BOG include gem chests, which drop varying amounts of gems. In the battlefield shop, you can also purchase gems using Badges and Dragon Crystals. This is a way to get more gems with your Battlefield rewards.

Server War

Server war offers lots of gems, available from individual point milestones, server ranking, and alliance server ranking. You can win up to 540,000 gems!

Monarch Competition

By completing the three stages during a monarch competition, you shall gain gems as a reward. There are six events that take place in a week:

• City Development – Upgrade Building and Research
• Resource Gathering – Gather Resources
• Monster Kill – Kill Monsters / Bosses
• Power Increase – Increase Monarch Power
• Troop Training – Train Troops
• Kill Enemies – Kill Enemy Troops

World Boss

The world boss event begins at Saturday 8am server time, and lasts for 48 hours. For each day of the World Boss event you get 5 free attacks (and can pay for 5 more, although this is irrelevant for smaller players which is who this guide is aimed for), and by attacking with just one troops, you will gain 250 gems per attack. You can also gain further rewards by ranking on the damage leader board.

Undead Invasion

The Undead Invasion Event occurs weekly, and you can gain gems for 3 different rankings: Individual Server, Alliance Server, and Alliance Point Milestones.

Artic Barbarian Castles

By completing the Artic Barbarian Event, you can gain gems for the following categories: Individual Point Milestones, Alliance Server Ranking, and Individual Server Ranking.

Royal Thief

Royal Thief’s is an event that occurs every day. Thief’s spawn at random after accumulating Daily Activity points, and are guaranteed to have arrived before you reach 145 daily points.

Upon the death of all three Royal Thief’s, you shall receive 3 chests which contain the possibility of getting 1,000-5,000 gems.

Dwarf’s Lucky Apples

By consuming Wishing Coins, there is a chance you receive a Dwarf’s Delicious Pie. These can be gifted to Witches across the map in return for rewards. One of the rewards you can win (if you are lucky) is up to 15,000 gems!

Conclusion

By adopting simple techniques such as Lucky Eggs, Daily Login, and Daily Activity, without doing any of the more complicated methods, you can expected to gain a minimum of 81,600 gems per week! Plenty of gems to keep you bubbled and grow.
