Zhang Fei’s Backstory
In the chaotic era of the Three Kingdoms, Zhang Fei emerged as a legendary hero, famed for his
unmatched courage and fierce martial prowess. As a sworn brother to Liu Bei, the Emperor of Shu, Zhang Fei became a pillar of the Shu Han dynasty, renowned for his valor and loyalty.
His fame peaked during the Battle of Changban in 208 AD. When 100,000 enemy troops threatened Liu Bei’s retreat, Zhang Fei, undaunted, rode alone to the bridgehead. Raising his spear, he let out a thunderous roar that sent shockwaves through the enemy, halting their pursuit and saving Liu Bei’s forces.
