Evony Treasure Hunt Guide

Introduction

The Evony Treasure Hunt closely resembles the Arctic Barbarians Invasion, but it involves the exploration of ancient Egyptian pyramids in search of unique treasures that will earn you points, rather than the traditional strategy of attacking and occupying Barbarian Castles.

The event generally occurs on alternating headline event periods with the Barbarian Arctic Invasion, making it a frequent occurrence. Achieving a high score offers a chance to earn a substantial number of Gems, so it’s advisable to invest some effort to ensure you secure at least a portion of these valuable rewards. This is an easy way to get gems if you are ftp (free to play) to small level coiners.

Evony Treasure Hunt Event

Throughout the event duration, pyramids ranging from levels 1 to 5 will appear across the map. These pyramids usually persist for approximately 4 hours after their initial appearance or until someone completes their exploration. To begin your exploration, just choose a pyramid and click on the ‘Explore’ button, like how you interact with a Relic.

It’s important to be cautious when exploring pyramids during this event, as other players have the ability to launch attacks against you. So you can do the following:

• Send low level troops (0.5 million Troop level 1 is sufficient to take lv5 pyramid). For a more precise measure, each pyramid level requires multiples of 500k troop load (i.e. level 1 = 500k, level 2 = 1M… level 5 = 2.5M). So this number of troops can be reduced (to reduce damage if tiled), if you want to be more precise, although 500k t1 works as a general rule of thumb.
• You send a general to speedup the march if you want to explore them from hive. (General is not required)
• If you find multiple pyramids at same location you can teleport next to them and explore all of them.

As your troops explore the ruins, they will gather treasure, which is then automatically transformed into event points upon their return. Accumulating more points by the end of the event will result in superior rewards!

Following is the list of treasure you can get after exploring the pyramids. You will get points once your troops are back. (Please note that evony is sometimes laggy and it may take 5-10 minutes to update your score.)

The goal is to achieve 500 million points to get all rewards.

Expert Tips for Treasure Hunt:

• If you’re aiming for a faster score, focus your troop deployments on level 4 and level 5 pyramids.
• While all alliance members can explore the same pyramid, akin to relics, it’s important to note that the exploration points and rewards will be distributed among the participants and may be relatively modest. Hence, it is recommended to solo the pyramids for more substantial gains.
• Enhancing your research is essential. Specifically, upgrading the “Mysterious Relic Exploration” in the Alliance research tree at your Academy will boost the quantity of treasures you discover while exploring.
• Do not explore if someone has already occupied the pyramid as you will have to attack the Pyramid. Easiest way to find is that you will have an option of explore vs attack when you click on pyramid. Depending on your server rules, take necessary actions.

Pro-Expert Tips for Treasure Hunt:

• As this the Treasure Hunt event falls under SVS event, you can use these pyramids as bait as well. Just be careful.

Even though its time consuming and not as fun as Artic Barbaric Castles, you still get lots of gems and can have lots of fun exploring Pyramids for the Treasure Hunt event.
