This list contains the best Ranged Generals for F2P players. Generals are very unique to each players playstyle, and therefore you may wish to deviate from this list – treat this list as more of a general guidance rather than an absolute. This guide is segmented into March & Rally, and Reinforcement. This is because some buffs are only enabled under certain circumstances.
‘Maxed out’ in this guide shall refer to a General that is level 40 (due to limit information at level 45), fully ascended, fully cultivated, full specialties (except 5th), skin (if applicable), and skill books.
Evony Ranged Generals – March & Rally
1 – Elektra
Elektra can be found in Relics therefore making her easier to Ascend.
Her base special skill provides a 15% Mounted and Ranged attack buff, with a further 20% Ranged attack buff if she brings a dragon.
When maxed out, she offers:
- 365% Ranged Attack
- 294.8% Ranged Defense
- 263.2% Ranged HP
- 28% March Size

2 – Tomyris
Tomyris can be found in Relics therefore making her easier to Ascend.
Her base special skill provides a 35% Ranged troop attack, and a 5% increase in rally capacity.
When maxed out, she offers:
- 352.4% Ranged Attack
- 277% Ranged Defense
- 329.2% Ranged HP
- 26% March Size
- 10% Rally Size

3 – Alfred the Great
Alfred the Great can be found in Relics therefore making him easier to Ascend.
His base special skill provides a 30% Ranged troop attack, and a 30% Siege Machine attack buff.
When maxed out, he offers:
- 355% Ranged Attack
- 280.2% Ranged Defense
- 283.6% Ranged HP
- 18% March Size
- 8% Rally Size

4 – Minamoto no Yoshitsune
Minamoto no Yoshitsune can be found in the Tavern therefore making him easier to Ascend.
His base special skill provides a 25% Ranged attack buff, with a further 15% if equipped with a dragon.
When maxed out, he offers:
- 348.6% Ranged Attack
- 268.6% Ranged Defense
- 292.6% Ranged HP
- 12% March Size
- 6% Rally Size

5 – Li Shimin
Li Shimin can be found in the Tavern therefore making him easier to Ascend.
His base special skill provides a 15% Ranged attack, and a 10% March Size buff.
When maxed out, he offers:
- 330.4% Ranged Attack
- 266.6% Ranged Defense
- 296.6% Ranged HP
- 12% March Size
- 6% Rally Size

Evony Ranged Generals – Reinforcement
1 – Minamoto no Yoshitsune
Minamoto no Yoshitsune can be found in the Tavern therefore making him easier to Ascend.
His base special skill provides a 25% Ranged attack buff, with a further 15% if equipped with a dragon.
When maxed out, he offers:
- 348.6% Ranged Attack
- 268.6% Ranged Defense
- 292.6% Ranged HP
- 12% March Size

2 – Dmitry
Dmitry can be found in the Tavern therefore making him easier to Ascend.
His base special skill provides a 20% ground defense and HP buff, and a 30% ranged attack buff when reinforcing.
When maxed out, he offers:
- 332.8% Ranged Attack
- 258.2% Ranged Defense
- 262.4% Ranged HP
- 22% March Size

3 – Winfield Scott
Winfield Scott can be found in the Tavern therefore making him easier to Ascend.
His base special skill provides a 5% troop attack, and a further 20% ranged troop attack buff.
When maxed out, he offers:
- 312.8% Ranged Attack
- 271.6% Ranged Defense
- 263% Ranged HP
- 32% March Size

4 – Edward the Black Prince
Edward the Black Prince can be found in the Tavern therefore making him easier to Ascend.
His base special skill provides a 25% ranged troop attack buff, and a -15% enemy mounted attack debuff.
When maxed out, he offers:
- 305.6% Ranged Attack
- 249.4% Ranged Defense
- 287% Ranged HP
- 22% March Size

5 – Gwanggaeto the Great
Gwanggaeto the Great can be found in the Tavern therefore making him easier to Ascend.
His base special skill provides a 20% ranged and siege attack buff.
When maxed out, he offers:
- 297.6% Ranged Attack
- 275.6% Ranged Defense
- 274.2% Ranged HP
- 28% March Size

Conclusion
In conclusion, as stated at the start, General’s are a very subjective ranking. My personal preference is Minamoto due to his versatility across marching and reinforcing. If I was purely involved in attacking, I would chose Elektra, although she falls down in the rankings a lot when it comes to reinforcing.
