Sun Wu’s Backstory
Sun Wu, a native of Qi in the late Spring and Autumn period, was a famed strategist. His Thirteen Chapters on the Art of War led Wu Zixu to recommend him to the King of Wu.
To test his command, the king ordered him to drill palace maids. When repeated orders failed, Sun executed the king’s favored concubine, who led the maids. The women fell into strict discipline, and though grieved, the king was convinced of Sun’s ability and made him general.
Under his training, Wu’s army grew powerful enough to confront mighty Chu. When Chu struck at Wu’s vassals, Sun urged striking directly into Chu’s heartland rather than facing their armies head-on. His raids pierced deep, and at Boju he crushed Chu’s main force. The king of Chu fled his capital, and the long-dominant state collapsed in a single campaign.
Though Sun Wu earned victories that shook Chu, Qi, and Jin, it was his Art of War that made his name eternal. The treatise shaped Chinese, East Asian, and even world military thought, extending its influence into politics, business, and beyond.

To unlock ascension for Sun Wu you will need to ensure she is level 22, and has 5 stars. To achieve the first level of ascension, you will require 620 Blood of Ares, as well as 30 fragments of Sun Wu. One Sun Wu general can be broken down into 30 fragments.
